Sitting still is the most repetitive thing we do all day.MotionCue interrupts it, gently.

Show up, and it runs

The whole thing lives on your wrist.

No app to fumble with mid-stretch. A reminder, a tap, a calm figure, done.

It finds your wrist

A buzz, and you're in.

A gentle tap brings up a calm scene, your day, and what is next, right on your wrist. No digging for your phone.

Hands-free

A calm figure leads every move.

Stanley plays the stretch on your wrist: a countdown, a plain cue, and a soft haptic to tell you when to switch sides. Your phone never comes out.

No shame, no theater

Your streak lives here too.

Finish and it ticks up on your wrist, then quietly syncs to your phone. A rest day never wipes it out; the goal is to move more often, not to feel in debt.

Your pace, your style

A nudge that reads the room.

Pick how MotionCue taps you on the shoulder. Move Me sends one quick stretch at varied gaps and lets you get straight back to work. Classic break keeps the old rhythm: a reminder on a fixed cadence to run your whole routine.

Your quiet hours, always Your active days Your daily cap

New: nudges that wait until you actually sit down. Turn on Time nudges by stillness and MotionCue anchors the next nudge to when you stopped moving, not to the clock, so it is far less likely to buzz while you are already up and walking. It reads your step count at the moment it plans, uses it, and throws it away: nothing stored, nothing synced, nothing sent. It is off until you turn it on, and if you skip it, nudges simply keep their normal rhythm.

It shows its work

Every stretch names its source.

The wellness aisle is full of "expert-designed" claims with nothing behind them. MotionCue does the opposite: a tappable citation on each stretch, so you can read the source yourself.

One of 36 is text only, on purpose. The Seated Spinal Twist stays written rather than animated, because the figure cannot show it without misleading you.

Stanley, the MotionCue figure, seated cross-legged and waving hello
Say hello

Meet Stanley.

The calm little figure in every stretch has a name.

Stanley shows you each move from the inside: he sits where you sit, holds what you hold, and turns so you can follow along without a second guess. Mirror him and good form just happens.

He is pared down to a few quiet shapes on purpose. The minimalism is the design, not the ceiling: a companion you can copy without thinking, never a mascot demanding your attention.

Fifty-one seconds

See it move.

The whole idea, start to finish. Sound on: that music is composed in-house, and it loops without a seam.

MotionCue Circle screen: a pact with Sibby at weekdays 3:00 PM, a shared watercolor garden at 45 days together with a Water the garden button, and the Circle below it
Better with a little company

Make a pact, grow a garden.

Pick one person and one shared minute, like weekdays at three. Both phones cue at the same moment, and every day you both move grows a watercolor garden that belongs to the two of you. No feeds, no followers, no scores to chase.

  • A garden that cannot die. Together-days make it grow. A missed day softens the color, and that is all it ever does: the garden never resets and never takes back what you have already grown. Come back and it comes back with you.
  • Water it when they need a lift. Hand some color back to your partner's side of the garden. Twice a week, so it still means something when you do.
  • One Sunday Letter, not a stream of pings. A small weekly note on how the two of you did. There is no failure copy in it anywhere; the quietest possible week simply reads "The garden rested this week."
  • Circles are still here. A Circle is a small, private group you invite, with cheers and who-moved-today, and you can keep a few at once: family in one, work in another. Your pact lives inside one. Either way it is a name and a streak, never which stretches you did, your schedule, or your hydration.
  • Bring a friend in free. Someone you invite skips the upfront paywall and can start moving right away.

Stored in your own iCloud and shared only through Apple's private sharing. It never passes through our servers, and we never receive a copy.

Find your calm

One app, a wardrobe of calm.

MotionCue ships in a clean green, then dresses into whatever calms you. Each theme is a palette borrowed from a culture of rest, and the whole app settles into it, right down to Stanley. Here are a few; new ones land in the app over time.

A few favorites shown here. The full wardrobe lives in the app, and keeps growing.

Picture your day with it

Let MotionCue give you these experiences.

  • An upfront paywall, not a bait-and-switch. You know the price going in.
  • No fake urgency, no discount theater. Cancel anytime, right from Settings.
  • Forgiving streaks. A rest day never punishes you.

Free for 14 days, then $4.99/month or $49/year (save ~18%). Auto-renews until cancelled; cancel anytime.

"I built MotionCue because I needed it. So many times I'd look up and realize I'd been stuck in the same screen posture for hours, my range of motion quietly shrinking. So I made the thing that interrupts it. I hope it breaks up the most repetitive thing you do all day. There's something beautiful on the other side of moving again."
